Results from Virginia's congressional district races show that most voters have chosen to re-elect their current representatives. Republican Congressmen Rob Wittman, Ben Cline and Morgan Griffith were projected as unofficial winners of their congressional races last night. Democrats Robert Scott, Jennifer McClellan and Donald Beyer were also projected as winners last night. Voters also elected Republican John McGuire in the Fifth District and Democrat Suhas Subramanyam in the Tenth District. Republican Congresswoman Jen Kiggans was leading her race in the Second District last night, while Democrat Eugene Vindman was ahead in the Tenth District race.

The Army says 23-year-old Sergeant Quandarius Davon Stanley died last week. Stanley was one of three service members injured while supporting a humanitarian aid mission to Gaza earlier this year. Stanley was assigned to the Seventh Transportation Brigade at Joint Base Langley-Eustis.
Stock futures are rising sharply as investors react to former President Trump's projected victory in the 2024 election. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average have been up well in excess of 900 points at times overnight. Also of note, the social media company Trump Media & Technology Group surged 40-percent in pre-market trading.
