A northern Virginia man has been found guilty of sending thousands of dollars to a foreign terrorist group. Thirty-five-year-old Mohammed Chhipa [[ CHEE-pah ]] was found guilty by a federal jury in Alexandria on Friday. Prosecutors had accused Chhipa of converting thousands of dollars into Bitcoin and sending it to ISIS members over three years. He'll be sentenced in May.  
 
 
Governor Glenn Youngkin wants Virginia to stop taxing tips. The governor announced his proposal yesterday at a restaurant in Richmond. Youngkin says ending taxes on tips would help more than 250-thousand service workers in the state. He believes it could return around 70-million dollars to the pockets of restaurant servers, hair stylists, bellhops and other service workers. The measure is one of several budget amendments the governor is expected to propose to the General Assembly tomorrow.  
 
 
For the first time in over a decade U.S adults had lower rates of obesity in 2023. A study published on Friday revealed that nationally, obesity dropped from 46 percent in 2022 to 45.6 percent in 2023. The study also found a significant decrease of obesity in the South, including older adult women, ages 66 to 75. More than 16-million adults were included in the study from the years of 2013 to 2023.
