There's a Winter Storm Warning in effect in Central Virginia. The National Weather Service has issued the warning until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. Forecasters expect heavy wet snow and mixed precipitation. Total snow and sleet accumulations could be between two and four inches. Ice accumulations could be up to two-tenths of an inch. Power outages are possible. The NWS advises delaying all travel if possible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your car in case of emergency.

Family members were referring to South Hill resident Kyron Fowlkes. Richmond Police yesterday identified him as the victim in a stabbing last week at Lemon Cuisine of India on West Broad Street.
