Investigators are working to determine what led to a deadly shooting at a grocery store in Albermarle County. Law enforcement responded to the parking lot of a Harris Teeter in Crozet yesterday afternoon. Officers found two people dead and another person wounded. A bystander reportedly used his personal weapon to shoot and kill the gunman. Albermarle County authorities are working with the state police to investigate the shooting.
After spending days getting power restored, Dominion Energy is getting ready for more possible outages. Another storm is expected to start tomorrow morning, but spokesman Craig Carper doesn't expect it'll be as bad as the last one. He says it's supposed to be a drier snow, and that means lower potential for serious impacts. Carper tells 8News storm preparation is a year-round job.

According to the post, the Department of Government Efficiency found that 8,955,261 people between the ages of 130 and 369 years old are still receiving benefits. The Social Security Act was signed by FDR in August of 1935 and taxes began being collected in January 1937. Regular ongoing monthly benefits started in January 1940.
