Severe thunderstorms are in the forecast for thousands of Virginians today. Forecasters say there's a chance of damaging winds, hail and even tornadoes during the afternoon hours. According to the National Weather Service, southeastern Virginia could get the brunt of it. Virginia Beach will be under a wind advisory from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
