A Fairfax County school is getting weapons detectors installed following a stabbing last week. The machines will be permanently placed at West Potomac High School beginning today. The installation comes after a 16-year-old student was badly injured by another teen in a stabbing last Wednesday.
The Republican candidate for lieutenant governor is ignoring calls to drop out. John Reid campaigned in Henrico yesterday at Atlas 42. Last week, allegations began suggesting Reid posted sexually explicit content online but Reid denies it is his account. He told supporters the Richmond swamp does not like it when they encounter a different type of person who they can't control. Reid called for Republicans to unify before November's election, and he also asked his supporters to pray for him.
