Thousands of Richmond residents may have to wait at least another month to get the rebate checks they're due. Interim CAO Sabrina Joy Hogg went before the city council yesterday. She discussed a mistake that led to more than eight thousand tax rebate checks getting sent to the wrong people. Hogg says the city still has over 35-thousand checks to issue, but they can't be sent until June 16th.

The TSA says April 11th was the busiest day ever for agents at both airports. Agents screened over 44-thousand passengers at Dulles that day, while Reagan National wasn't far behind with nearly 43-thousand passengers. The TSA expects the high passenger volume to continue and is reminding travelers that REAL ID requirements go into effect at all airports tomorrow.
Rite Aid is in financial trouble. Monday, the drugstore chain filed for Chapter eleven bankruptcy for the second time in two years. The company sold off their PBM business in 2024. CEO Matt Schroeder says the bad economy, tariffs and other factors contributed to the situation.
