Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says an unidentified person was hospitalized after a near drowning in Reston. First responders were called to the Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole just before noon. One person was pulled from the water and was reportedly alive at the time they were transported. No other details have been released.

The state ABC posted on social media last week that it would sell three expensive bourbons at select stores, but didn't say where or when. That changed yesterday, when the authority announced the bourbons would be on sale at 2 p.m. The Springfield ABC store was the only one in northern Virginia with all three bourbons and shoppers flocked to the location hoping to buy one of the rare liquors. The least expensive of the three bourbons available cost around a thousand dollars.
