Governor Glenn Youngkin is putting together a task force that will recommend policies to improve maternal health care in Virginia. The governor issued an executive order yesterday to re-establish the Task Force on Maternal Health Data and Quality Measures. The task force will collect data from facilities around the state, evaluating maternal care delivered before, during and after birth. Members will then recommend policies to the governor and the General Assembly. Youngkin said supporting women's health services is the key to the well-being of women and families in the Commonwealth.

A Virginia couple has set a unique goal as they spend their retirement traveling around the country. Judy and Mike McNamara of Franklin are hoping to visit every Texas Roadhouse in the U.S. So far they've been to 48 states and visited 228 of the chain's restaurants. A fact sheet published by Texas Roadhouse says the company has nearly 600 locations in 49 states.
