Police are releasing more details about a deadly weekend shooting at an Alexandria gym. Two men died at the Onelife Fitness location on Hooff's Run Drive on Saturday. The police department announced yesterday that DC resident Charles Hewitt was the suspected shooter and Joshua Wilcox of Maryland was the other man killed. Police believe Hewitt shot Wilcox and then shot himself. Investigators are still unsure what led to the shooting and an autopsy has been ordered for both men.  
 
 
There are federal moves in the works to enourage and improve racial diversity within drug clinical trials in Virginia.

Sports betting in Virginia is on the rise. The Virginia Lottery announced yesterday that more than 505-million dollars in wagers were placed on sports in May. That's an increase of 25-percent from the same month last year. After paying off winning bets, the adjusted revenue for the month was nearly 54-million dollars. The Virginia Lottery collected over eight-million dollars in tax revenue, with most of it going to the state's general fund.  
 
 
Many Americans are concerned about Islamophobia and antisemitism. A new Gallup poll shows that about four in five believe antisemitism is "somewhat" or "very serious" a problem. Meanwhile, about three in four Americans see Islamophobia as somewhat or seriously a problem.
