An investigation is underway after a missing man was found dead in Chesterfield County. Police say the body of Julio Sales Perez was found yesterday. The 45-year-old went missing while swimming in the area of Falling Creek Ironworks Park on Route One. Members of the Chesterfield Fire and EMS Dive Team found his body about 90 minutes after he was last seen. No cause of death has been determined, but police say it doesn't look like foul play.

Authorities say no one was hurt when a freight train derailed in Fredericksburg on Saturday. Five cars left the track near Cobblestone Drive just before 9 p.m. Part of a concrete sound wall and four garages were damaged, but no hazardous materials leaked as a result of the derailment. The city has been in touch with CSX and the Federal Railroad Administration and expects a full review of the derailment.
