A Virginia man was arrested for sending sexually explicit photos to a 7-year-old Georgia girl through the Monkey Cool app. The girl's aunt reported the inappropriate content to the police, leading to the man's identification and arrest in Fairfax County. Valdosta detectives, in South Georgia, obtained arrest warrants for the man on charges including obscene internet contact with a child. Authorities urge parents to monitor their children's smartphone apps and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.  
 
 
Police in Leesburg want to help Hyundai owners make their cars a bit less attractive to criminals. The police department began giving out steering wheel locks to Loudoun County residents yesterday. The program is open to those who own Hyundais made between 2016 and 2021 and need a key to start. Thieves have been targeting those models because they lack anti-theft features, making them easier to steal.

Virginia's unemployment rate is holding at two-point-seven-percent. The Virginia Employment Commission announced Friday that the jobless rate stayed at the same level from May to June. The number of unemployed Virginians dropped by about 24-hundred, while the number of Virginians in the labor force dropped by nearly 42-hundred. June's unemployment rate was up a tenth of a point from the same month last year.
