First responders in Wythe [[Yth]] County are searching for a man who may have drowned in the New River. The county sheriff's office says the man went under the water near the Jackson Ferry Shot Tower on Monday and did not resurface. Family members spoke to WDBJ-TV yesterday and identified the man as Lawrence Parsons. Divers from the sheriff's office were combing the river yesterday but had not located the man's body as of late yesterday afternoon.  
 
 
An anticipated vote on new data center regulation in Fairfax County has been delayed for a second time. The county Board of Supervisors was expected to vote on the new regulations yesterday. But the county released a statement saying a "regulatory oversight" would delay the public hearings scheduled for yesterday until September 10th. A spokesperson said the county staffers did not follow new rules for advertising public hearings that went into effect earlier this month. The rules under consideration would set building size standards, require noise studies and keep the data centers at least 200 feet from residential areas.  
 
 
Henrico County leaders are holding a series of listening sessions as they plan ahead for the next two decades. Madison Roberts reports.

Microsoft is investigating outages impacting its office applications and services. In an update just before 11 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, the company said some services were beginning to return. This comes after a faulty software update from cybersecurity company CrowdStrike caused a global Microsoft outage earlier this month.
