Two DC-area Olympians are being warmly greeted after returning home from Paris. Katie Ledecky and Quincy Wilson received cheers from dozens of supporters after arriving at Dulles International Airport yesterday. Wilson became the youngest track athlete ever to win a gold medal as part of the U.S. men's 400-meter relay team. Ledecky won four medals in women's swimming to give her 14 medals during her Olympic career.
Barbra Streisand will be the guest speaker for a virtual "Jewish Women for Kamala" group call this week. According to its website, the "Jewish Women for Kamala" call is open for "all genders and all Jewish allies." Streisand has been a vocal supporter for President Biden and has endorsed Vice President Harris in her presidential bid. The one-hour call is scheduled for Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
