The scary encounter happened on August 4th after the man sat beside the family near their gate after following them through security. The man followed them onto their flight and sat next to them on the plane until he was removed by Delta personnel. Airport officials say he had a valid boarding pass and ticket for another flight, but was somehow allowed to board the wrong plane. The man was not charged with a crime and was reportedly having mental health issues at the time he boarded the plane.
Breeze Airways will be offering nonstop service from Norfolk to New Haven, Connecticut, and West Palm Beach starting in February 2025. WAVY reports this marks the airline's second destination in Connecticut from the airport in Norfolk.

Bankrate found that women who are also mothers earned 31-percent less in wages than fathers did in 2023. That added up to the significant figure across an entire career, assuming wages are the same. Research shows that while women who are single with no children are the closest to earning the same level as men, they still start out earning less, and the gap widens if they marry.
