Lynchburg City Public Schools is facing some backlash over its lack of accreditation status.Preview: The bill for a recount in Virginia's Fifth District Republican congressional primary has been finalized. Goochland County's chief judge determined the amount during a hearing yesterday. Congressman Bob Good had objected to some of the charges submitted for the recount and the judge removed some of those costs from the final total. Good will pay nearly 89-thousand dollars for the recount, about seven-thousand less than anticipated. The congressman plans to run again in two years.
Those planning to go to the Chesterfield County Fair should be aware of some changes. Officials announced new policies yesterday after fights broke out involving teenagers. Starting today, no one under 18 is allowed in after 6:00 p.m. unless they're with someone over 21. That adult is not allowed to have more than four kids with them, and everyone must stay together. Anyone 18 and under found alone will be asked to leave at 6:00 p.m. Anyone wearing questionable clothing, like gang colors, or masks will be denied entry. The fair ends on Sunday.

Recently, other companies like Lowe's, Harley Davidson and Tractor Supply all said they would also stop or cut back on certain DEI efforts after customer backlash.
