Tropical Storm Debby could lead to flooding in Central Virginia. The National Weather Service has a Flood Watch in effect from tonight through Friday night. Excessive runoff could result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. The NWS says Debby will slowly track through Virginia today through Friday night. Up to six inches of rain is possible, and that could cause flash flooding. Officials are urging everyone to stay home in order to stay safe.

A Virginia woman is attempting to set a new world record for attending the most live music shows during a seven-day period. Jeanette Pagliuco is documenting her Guinness world record attempt on social media, having attended 18 shows as of last update. The performances include a Marine drum corps, a mariachi band and a concert by Steve Winwood. To break the record, she has to see more than 21 live performances.
