A teenager is dead and two women were injured after a weekend shooting in Richmond. Police say the victims were shot late Saturday night at the Belt Atlantic Apartment along the 4-thousand block of Midlothian Turnpike. A 16-year-old boy died at the scene. One of the women suffered life-threatening injuries. There's no word on the other woman's condition. Investigators say the shooting stemmed from an altercation among a group of individuals. The name of the teenage victim who died hasn't been released. There's no word of any arrests.

Medical waste has prompted the closing of Chincoteague Public Beach and all ocean-facing beaches at Assateague Island National Seashore. Officials say the debris of medical waste such as syringes and needles began coming ashore yesterday morning, but they don't know where it originated. All campgrounds, trails, boardwalks, and visitor centers remain open. There's no word on how long the closures will last.  
 
 
Two famous brothers and Southern rock legends are teaming up for their first-ever Christian rock album. "Always Look Up" is the forthcoming album by Van Zant, which is made up of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Johnny Van Zant and 38-Special's Donnie Van Zant. The eleven-song album is set for a November 22nd release and is available for pre-order through various platforms, including Spotify and Amazon Music.
