A man wanted for robbing a house in Chesterfield County is in custody. Chesterfield Police announced yesterday Barry Rush was arrested last week. He allegedly broke into a house while armed on Ratling Drive on Christmas Eve and took some cash. Two people were hurt. The charges against the 47-year-old include possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated malicious wounding. He's being held without bond. Police are looking for another suspect.  
 
 
The 119th U.S. Congress will be sworn in today. The new two-year term will get underway after the House members are sworn in. First, they'll have to elect a speaker, and it's not clear if Republican Mike Johnson has the votes needed to retain the position. For the first time in five years, the GOP controls both the House and the Senate. Johnson predicted yesterday that he would win because there's a "brand new paradigm" in Washington.  
 
 
Virginian may soon be paying even more at the grocery store, with experts predicting prices are on the rise. Katie Gray reports.

The Virginia Tech football team will wrap up its season tonight in the Duke's Mayo Bowl. The Hokies will meet Minnesota at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Virginia Tech is 6-and-6 this season, with wins over Stanford and Georgia Tech and a close loss to Miami. Minnesota was 7-and-5 this season with wins over USC, UCLA and Illinois and close losses against Michigan and Penn State. The game is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m.
