Richmond's mayor is being criticized for his response to city employees who want a new contract. Local 322 President Brian Peyton said yesterday Mayor Levar Stoney isn't taking negotiations seriously. Peyton represents 600 city employees in the DPW, Public Utilities and Parks and Rec. They held a rally to put public pressure on the mayor to settle the contract talks. A DPW worker says they're getting paid slave mentality wages. City Councilmember Andreas Addison was at the rally to support the workers. He tells 12 On Your Side having a contract signed as soon as possible is the least they deserve.  
 
 
A man who spent ten years playing cornerback for Washington in the 60s and 70s has died. A spokesperson for the Washington Commanders says the family of Pat Fischer informed the team of his death yesterday. Fischer had a 17-year career in the NFL, playing for St. Louis and Washington before retiring in 1977. He was a first-team All-Pro in 1964 and was selected for the Pro Bowl three times. Fischer was 84-years-old.  
 
 
Honda is recalling about one-point-seven-million vehicles in the U.S. over an issue with the gearbox. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall includes recent model Honda Civics, Acura Integras and CR-Vs. Honda dealers will fix the issue for free.
