An infant has died after a crash in Albermarle County. Authorities began investigating last Thursday after four people were hit by a car while crossing a street. A 38-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition, while three children were critically injured. Police say the four-month-old child died Wednesday from injuries received in the crash, which is still under investigation.

City officials announced yesterday the holiday parade and tree-lighting ceremony will take place Saturday December 7th. The parade will begin at 3:00 at Poplar Lawn and go down Sycamore Street before ending at Union Train Station. That's where the tree-lighting will take place.
