The bridge over the James River connects downtown Richmond and Manchester. Bike Walk RVA's Brantley Tyndall says the walking tour was a great opportunity to show how dangerous it feels to walk across the bridge alongside fast moving cars. Work on a new bridge is set to start in 2027. Tyndall tells 8News people want walkability, and if we get this bridge replacement wrong, we're gonna have a major setback for 100 years.
