Some Henrico County residents are frustrated and on edge after a rash of break-ins. That's what Sandston business owner Bobby Haller said recently. His vape shop was burglarized two months ago, and he has since heard from several other victims. Haller says people have lost faith in the police department and the system, and it's disheartening. Board of Supervisors Chairman Tyrone Nelson says someone tried to steal his car not too long ago, and he understands the frustration. He asks residents, though, not to take matters into their own hands. He's working on organizing a meeting next week with residents and police. In the meantime, Nelson tells CBS 6 police will have an increased presence in the area.

Governor Youngkin announced the start of the Virginia Veterans Network yesterday during a luncheon in Virginia Beach. The online tool will allow veterans to access links to hundreds of different services in one place. Veterans can also use the tool to schedule appointments with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to receive additional support. Youngkin called the portal "the gold standard of service for Virginia veterans.
