The Hampton Roads area is under a flood watch through tomorrow. The National Weather Service says low lying areas could see some damages over the next day. The coast is expected to see heavy rains, high winds and tidal flooding. Showers are expected to develop heavier later this afternoon.
A Henrico County man is being remembered for his kindness, warmth and dedication to his children. That's how family members describe Glen Allen's Randall Benton Cooper. The 40-year-old was killed in a crash Friday in New Kent County. He was the passenger in a truck that had a tire blowout on I-64 West. VSP says the truck went off the road, hit a tree and caught fire. Cooper and the 36-year-old driver were killed. Cooper leaves behind three children, ages 11, 9 and 11 months. His family tells 8News they're devastated, and their lives will never be the same without him. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page set up for funeral expenses and his children has raised over 11-thousand dollars.
