The Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration will begin low-level flights through the downtown area next Monday. The flights will continue through December 13th. The agency says the measurements will help protect public health and safety during the inauguration.

A judge has agreed to dismiss President-elect Trump's federal election interference case. Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a motion yesterday to drop the felony charges connected with Trump's alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Smith said the charges had to be dismissed before Trump takes office in January because of a Justice Department policy that sitting presidents won't be prosecuted.
