Former Richmond Circuit Court Judge Reilly Marchant recently reached an agreement with the Virginia Judicial Inquiry and Review Commission. They were investigating him after two female lawyers complained about his conduct toward them. The VJIRC decided not to conduct a formal hearing after Marchant agreed not to accept any future judicial appointments. Marchant's lawyer tells CBS 6 his client is sorry of he made anyone feel uncomfortable, but none of his judicial decisions were ever compromised or partial in any way.
Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick is reportedly interviewing to become the next head coach at Norfolk State University. Vick released a statement yesterday saying he would be honored to become the head football coach at Norfolk State. Vick says he is going through the interview process like all other candidates and has not signed any agreements with the university. Vick played at Virginia Tech before being drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2001, making him the first Black quarterback ever selected with the number one overall pick.
