A Chesterfield County student finally has the prizes he won in a school contest. A Matoaca [[Mah-toke-ah]] Middle School student earned the top spot in his school's fundraiser. That meant he won AirPods Pro headphones and a Nintendo Switch. When he got the prizes, though, they turned out to be fakes. His father, David Jones, says the school had the company replace the prizes which also turned out to be fake. The company says they get their prizes from independent sales reps, and Jones says the rep he talked to doesn't remember where he bought the prizes. The good news, though, is the school called yesterday and told Jones they have the real prizes for his son. Still, Jones tells CBS 6 he'd like to see more oversight of these fundraising contests.
