A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting at a fire station in Woodbridge. Police say 58-year-old Michael David Burke was spotted outside Station 26 on Davis Ford Road early yesterday morning. Burke was allegedly armed with a knife and refused commands to drop the weapon as he approached a police officer. The officer shot Burke in the upper body and he died after he was taken to the hospital. The shooting is being investigated by the county's Critical Incident Response Team.
Police in Fairfax County are investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy in a Wednesday evening crash. Police say the teen was trying to cross Old Keene Mill Road in Burke when he was hit by a Ford Fusion. He died after being taken to a local hospital. The driver stayed at the scene and police do not think speed or alcohol played a role in the crash.

Eighty-year-old Robert Williams was last seen in a store in Arlington on November 25th. His family says he traveled from Georgia to visit a friend before Thanksgiving and was reported missing when he didn't return. His truck was found abandoned in Arlington on Sunday. They're asking anyone with information to contact the Fairfax County Police Department.
