"COVID-19 vaccines have been linked to myocarditis, which, in some circumstances, can be fatal." That is the first statement in the abstract of a newly published and peer reviewed study found on the National Institutes of Health website. A group of four doctors performed the study that involved reviewing 28 published autopsy reports through July of 2023 where COVID-19 vaccine-induced myocarditis as a possible cause of death. They also looked at the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System reports through June of 2023 and found those reports "demonstrated a very strong crude signal for myocarditis as an accepted complication of COVID-19 vaccination". The study suggests the heart condition's development most commonly occurred after the second and third doses. Some doctors insist the benefits of the vaccines outweigh the risks, but the study suggests more research is needed.
