A man is facing charges for a deadly shooting in Henrico County. Florida's Tony Ray Williams was arrested yesterday for a shooting last month on I-295 South near Pocahontas Parkway. Virginia State Police say he was driving a tractor trailer when he hit another tractor trailer driven by a Massachusetts man named Silvio Sobrinho. Sobrinho's tractor trailer then went off the road and hit a guardrail. At some point, Sobrinho was shot, and the VSP says he was found dead at the scene. Williams is charged with second-degree murder. CBS 6 reports the shooting was a case of road rage.

Roanoke County Fire & Rescue officials are at the ready after responding to downed wires and trees in the area following this week's snow and ice storm. The department received around 70 calls on Thursday morning alone. WDBJ reports residents are urged not to attempt to remove trees entangled in wires themselves and to call professionals for assistance. Appalachian Power and VDOT crews have been working to repair damage caused by the storm. Officials are reminding residents that help is on the way if they encounter any issues related to the storm.
