A Richmond woman is one of the latest to be victimized by criminals. When Emily Stanley went to use her SNAP benefits card last weekend, it was empty. After calling the Virginia Department of Social Services, she found out someone stole the money and spent it. Stanley tells CBS 6 she was heartbroken, and what made it worse was finding out she probably won't get the money back. The VDSS says the state doesn't have money set aside to replenish SNAP accounts.  
 
 
A proposed bypass to ease traffic congestion in Prince William County has been killed by the county Board of Supervisors. Yesterday's 5-3 vote canceled the project to build a Route 28 Bypass in the Manassas area. The director of the Virginia Department of Transportation told the board that costs for the project have ballooned since it was approved in 2020. The county may be forced to repay money spent to design the project now that it's been shelved.  
 
 
Federal health workers are expressing fear and alarm after a website called “DEI Watch List” published the photos, names, and public information of workers across health agencies, describing them as “targets.” NBC News reports the site includes a note saying it is connected to the American Accountability Foundation, a conservative watchdog group, but it is unclear whether that is factual.
