Liberty University is launching a new training program for its aviation students to combat human trafficking, a $150 billion industry that affects people of all ages and backgrounds. The program aims to educate aviation personnel on recognizing signs of human trafficking and reporting suspicions to federal law enforcement. WDBJ reports the initiative, developed in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, will provide training to all residential and online students, with over 150 students already trained in the past week. School officials say the goal is to equip students to be champions for Christ and help victims of human trafficking worldwide.
