Governor Glenn Younkin has less than a week to act on bills passed during the recent General Assembly session. The legislature sent Youngkin hundreds of bills and he has until Monday to approve or veto them. Some of the bills approved by the body include proposals that Youngkin has rejected in the past, including a statewide minimum wage increase. The General Assembly will return to Richmond early next month to consider the governor's vetoes and amendments.  
 
 
A nonprofit organization in Richmond is expanding to provide care and resources for homeless veterans.

Caesar's Entertainment is helping the City of Danville through the donation of a new fire truck. The gambling company bought the one-point-six-million dollar truck and the city spent more than 200-thousand dollars on equipment. The fire department says the new truck is an upgrade because it has a ladder with a bucket that allows firefighters to do more as they work up to 100 feet in the air. The department's old truck will be kept in reserve in case it's needed in the future.  
 
 
In a risky business move, Amazon Echo will soon be sharing information with Amazon servers and users can't opt out. The "Do Not Send Voice Recordings" feature will come to an end on March 28th. A company spokesperson said that they are "expanding Alexa's capabilities with generative AI features that rely on the processing power of Amazon's secure cloud."
