The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors is joining other Virginia colleges in doing away with some of its diversity, equity and inclusion programs. The board met yesterday and voted to end programs that don't comply with President Trump's executive order to eliminate DEI. The university's Office for Inclusive Strategy and Excellence will be closed and other programs will be evaluated for compliance. Similar resolutions have been passed by the University of Virginia, VCU, Radford University and the state community college system.  
 
 
A manufacturing company with a facility in Botetourt County is planning a multi-million dollar expansion. Governor Youngkin announced yesterday that Munters Corporation will invest nearly 30-million dollars to expand their current facility in Daleville. The new facility is expected to focus on making energy-efficient cooling systems for data centers. The expansion is expected to create 270 new jobs.  
 
 
The delivery app DoorDash is now offering customers the ability to finance their fast food purchases. Financial Strategist Bill Dendy is critical of the move, saying that it's preying upon those with bad credit. He says, if you have to finance your burrito, it's time to take a look at your spending habits and make some changes.
