A Manassas mother who claims to have shot her estranged husband in self-defense is free on bond. LaToya Crabbe was granted bond despite the charges against her being upgraded to first-degree murder. Crabbe was arrested last fall after Curtis Crabbe was found shot multiple times in the couple's bedroom. LaToya Crabbe says her estranged husband had approached her with a knife just days after he had texted her threatening to kill the family. She spent four months in jail before being released on bond while she awaits her trial.
