Dustin Cody Butler was last seen in the Glasgow area of Rockbridge County in December of 2022. Multiple agencies searched that area yesterday trying to find clues about Butler's disappearance. Rockbridge County's sheriff said his office is determined to find answers for Butler's family. He hopes the public will come forward with any information they have about his disappearance.
Roanoke City Public Schools has opened a new administration building. It officially opened last Friday and is located in the former Roanoke Times building. The school system says 17-million-dollar renovation will make a generational impact. Another ribbon cutting for a new community empowerment center will happen in July.
Two Virginia colleges have been named to Forbes magazine's "New Ivy" list. The publication says the public and private colleges on the list are attracting the best and brightest students outside of the traditional Ivy League schools like Harvard and Princeton. The University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary were among the 20 schools that made this year's list.
