The Manassas Park man charged in connection to his wife's disappearance is slated to appear for a court hearing today. Naresh Bhatt is accused of killing his wife last summer and concealing her body, which has never been found. Today's hearing is centered around a request from prosecutors to call three out-of-state witnesses. Bhatt's trial, which has been rescheduled several times, is set to begin September 8th and will likely continue for several weeks.

Virginians have less than a week left to file their state tax returns. Individual returns are due on May 1st, and anyone who owes money to the state must also send in their payment with their return. Taxpayers can receive an automatic six-month extension, though penalties and interest will be added to any tax owed to the state. More information is available on the Virginia Department of Taxation website.  
 
 
A Hanover County native is a step closer to his NFL dreams. Atlee High School alum Tyler Warren was selected last night in the first round of the draft. The tight end out of Penn State was drafted 14th by the Indianapolis Colts. The AHS Booster Club threw a watch party for the draft. One student tells 12 On Your Side that Warren's success is inspiring, and it makes him think he can achieve anything he wants if he just locks in.
