CBS6 reports VCU plans to nearly double admissions this fall by admitting an extra 120 students. The expansion aims to contribute to the nursing workforce and combat the aging faculty workforce, retirements, and burnout among nurses.  
 
 
A raccoon has tested positive for rabies in Arlington. Arlington County Animal Control was called to investigate a sick raccoon in the 13-hundred block of North Greenbriar Street. The agency is warning residents of the Tara-Leeway Heights neighborhood about the raccoon. Anyone who came into contact with it is being asked to call animal control as soon as possible.  
 
 
Parody accounts on Elon Musk's X are facing new, stricter rules. Effective this Thursday user's will be required to use words like "fake" or "parody" as the first word in the account name. They are also required to use images that are different than those they're representing. In a post on X a spokesperson said these changes are meant to help reduce confusion or impersonation.
