A Maryland man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting an Arlington County parking enforcement officer. Investigators say the suspect shoved and hit the officer several times outside a business early Sunday morning. The suspect ran from the scene but was apprehended a short time later by police. Twenty-nine-year-old Otis Brown was charged with assault on police, aggravated malicious wounding and felony destruction of property.

The event was up in the air after the National Park Service denied them a permit because it was a religious service. A lawsuit was filed, and CB6 reports the NPS reversed course and granted the permit.
Getting a tattoo can apparently increase the risk of developing lymphoma. A new study out of Sweden found that people who had a tattoo of any size had a 21 percent higher risk of getting the blood cancer. The risk was highest among those who had gotten their first tattoo within the past two years.
