Inmates in Chesterfield County can now meet with loved ones virtually. The Virginia Department of Corrections announced yesterday that video visitation is now offered at Central Virginia Correctional Unit 13. Every living area at the facility is now equipped with video visitation equipment. This will allow inmates to conduct visits from their living areas.

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation unvield a new option for state park visitors who are colorblind. The department announced last year that they were teaming up with a company called EnChroma to install viewers that help those with colorblindness so they can see more of the colors around them. Chief Ranger of Visitor Experience Ethan Howes, who is colorblind, posted a video to the agency's social media of he and three others looking through the new viewfinders.

The first viewer was installed at Natural Tunnel State Park. The project will make Virginia the first state in the nation to install the viewers at all of its state parks.
