A Florida man is dead after a crash that sent his vehicle into the water off the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel in Hampton Roads. The Virginia State Police says a Chevy Traverse crashed into a Dodge Durango while making a lane change on Interstate 664 early yesterday. The impact caused the Traverse to spin and go into the water. Crews were able to successfully remove the vehicle from the water yesterday afternoon and confirmed that a 55-year-old driver was dead. The crash is still under investigation.
