A suspect wanted in connection with a deadly carjacking in Prince William County has been arrested in Virginia Beach. Police announced the arrest of 41-year-old Keith McBride over the weekend. Investigators say McBride stole a gold Lexus SUV outside a Dumfries apartment building on July 20th, running over and killing the owner while escaping. McBride has been charged with murder, hit and run, and grand larceny.  
 
 
A death investigation is underway in Petersburg. Police announced last night a body was found in the area of Battersea. They have not been identified and no cause of death has been revealed.  
 
 
The state of Virginia is celebrating higher-than-expected tax revenue for the fiscal year that ended June 30th. The governor's office announced Friday that the state collected about one-point-two-billion dollars more than expected during the 12-month budget period. General fund revenue was expected to grow by just over one-percent during the year, but actually increased by more than five-percent. Governor Youngkin said the increase shows that job growth has led to record revenue, allowing the state to invest in shared priorities while cutting taxes for Virginians.
