A Defense Department civilian Pentagon employee who is a U.S.-Turkish dual citizen is accused of mishandling classified documents.Preview: The Virginia Beach Police Department is asking for help locating a suspect who injured two people and then abducted three children. Investigators say an adult and a child were stabbed last night in the 900 block of Jay Are Court near Virginia Wesleyan University. The suspect then left the area with three young children. Virginia Beach police have identified the suspect as 36-year-old Dana Plummer. He is reportedly driving a Honda Passport with a temporary Virginia tag.
VCU leaders will be shying away from hot-button issues. VP of Student Affairs Aaron Hart said yesterday officials will follow a new policy when it comes to national or global news and events. He says the school will only issue statements when there's a direct connection to VCU's core function and mission. Hart says this is because well-intentioned statements may be received positively by some and negatively by others. The school also announced yesterday that anyone covering their face on campus or at a school event to conceal their identity must show their ID. This applies to students and non-students.
