A state board has suspended the medical license of a Blacksburg pediatrician for behavior classified as a danger to public health and safety. The state Board of Medicine issued the decision for Dr. Dalton M. Renick on Thursday. Investigators looked into Renick's behavior during the three years he worked for a children's clinic in Cave Spring. Their report detailed charges of sexual misconduct and disruptive behavior, including using inappropriate and offensive language around patients. Renick was fired from the clinic in February.

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced last week that RBW Sports and Classics will build an eight-million-dollar facility in an industrial park jointly owned by the county and the city of Danville. The plant will build the company's first left-hand drive models for the U.S. market. The new plant is expected to employ about 150 people.
