A man has died after his car flipped and wound up underwater on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The Virginia State Police say the man was driving east near Bloxom when his car overturned in a marshy area. A female passenger was able to escape the vehicle, but the 26-year-old driver was trapped inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The state police are investigating but say speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
