A Stafford County special education teacher is facing charges after allegedly being drunk on campus. Thirty-eight-year-old Patrick West was arrested on September 4th at Grafton Village Elementary School. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office charged West with public intoxication and having alcohol on school grounds. The school district says it is aware of the charges but has no other comment about the teacher's arrest.

More layoffs are coming at UPS. No word yet on an exact number but the company did reveal yesterday that it would be adding to cuts made earlier this year, which included 12-thousand employee reductions in management. Net income for UPS dropped over 30-percent in the second quarter, year-to-year.
