Tornadoes are possible this morning in eastern Georgia, the Carolinas and southern Virginia as Tropical Storm Helene still has maximum sustained winds of 70 miles per hours as it rolls across southern Georgia. The storm should continue to weaken as it moves further inland, though damaging winds are still expected in parts of the southeastern U.S. and into the southern Appalachians.

Transportation crews are ready to respond to any damage caused by Hurricane Helene.

Miyares sent a letter to local law enforcement because Virginia retailers are reportedly being told that the games are legal because they don't have a payment slot. The attorney general says he's investigated those claims and has determined the games still violate state law. The company that makes the games criticized Miyares for acting in the interest of casino companies and operating outside of his authority as attorney general.
