The wait continues for a Richmond man who wants a tree removed before it causes damage. Ed Williamson first notified city hall three weeks ago that a tree at Hanover Ave and Cleveland Street was splitting and in danger of falling over. The split is getting wider, and Williamson decided to take matters into his own hands by wrapping duct tape around the tree to keep it together. He also taped a sign to the tree warning drivers not to park there. The city tells 8News the tree is on its removal list, but there's no word on when that'll happen.
