Authorities in Virginia Beach say they are continuing to search for a missing 12-year-old boy. Juan Sebastian Acevedo was last seen last Friday morning. His parents say they reported him missing after the boy failed to return home that night. Police are also treating the disappearance as an abduction after his family reporting receiving ransom requests through WhatsApp. Police are using drones, helicopters, as well as mounted patrol to look for the boy. He's described as five-feet, eight-inches tall, 105 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, red hoodie, and blue pants.

Federal health officials are urging pet food companies, inlcuding those in Virgina, to increase safeguards due to the rise in cat illnesses and deaths from bird flu-contaminated raw pet food. Details from Lisa Carton.
