Virginia police have released body-cam footage of an officer-involved shooting involving a woman holding a knife. The 33-year-old woman, Sydney Wilson, was killed in the incident. Virginia police say it started as a welfare check when officers knocked on Wilson's door. Video footage shows her opening the door and immediately closing it in the officer's face. Wilson then opened the door holding a knife. Wilson then slashed the officer in the head, to which the officer fired three times. The officer has been placed on restrictive duty status as the investigation continues.

WalletHub has released their list and Virginia has ranked number ten for the highest student loan payments. The publication lists an average price of about 200 dollars a month. The state with the highest loan payments is New Hampshire with an average payment of about 229-dollars. And the states with the lowest average are Arkansas and Mississippi with 142-dollars a month.
